Roller Dryer
The RMA-Techniek roller dryer is intended for drying potatoes.
The potatoes come from the washer on a conveyor belt to the roller dryer. Here the potatoes will be transported over the dry rollers in a rotating movement.
In this way, the moisture is absorbed into the felt cloth of the roller rollers. To ensure that no potatoes are left behind in the machine, the machine is equipped with a pusher that pushes all potatoes to the conveyor belt at the end of the cycle.
Pressure rollers are provided on the underside of the drying rollers which press the moisture out of the felt. This moisture is collected in the underlying drip channel.
