Ensis Weighing Line
The ensis clams are supplied in the buffer bin. The buffer bin is filled with cold water so that the living product remains fresh and the quality is preserved. The buffer bin rotates the ensis clams by means of a conveyor belt on a dosing vibrator. This dosing vibrator consists of 3 vibrating chutes that supply the ensis clams to the 3D camera.
The 3D camera has been developed to sort ensis clams. The 3D camera will use a 3D sensor to determine the dimensions of each passing ensis clam. Based on this, the bad ensis clams will be filtered from the good ones through nozzles during the transportation process from one machine to another.
Subsequently, the clean product is transported by means of the conveyor belt to the weighing machine, where bundles of 500 grams or 1000 grams are weighed. The weighed portions are then neatly placed and can be transported in the desired packaging material with the touch of a button.
The entire line consists of:
- Cooling box
- Dosing vibrator
- 3D Camera
- Conveyor belt
- Conveyor belt weighing machine
- Weighing machine
