Drum Washer

The RMA-Techniek drum washer is intended for washing potatoes.

The potatoes are cleaned by means of the powered drum that rotates through the water with the bottom part. A valve is attached to the end of the drum that can determine the time of the potatoes in the drum. When the potatoes come out of the drum, they are transported via a conveyor belt of the drum washer.

With the drum washer, a weigh-in bunker is ideal because it can easily be converted into one module. This bunker has been developed for weighing and unloading potatoes and is a short process for the drum washer. The cycle starts when the potatoes are automatically transported through the feeding system. Since the entire bunker is set up in a special way, the weight can be requested at any time. The bunker is automatically unloaded by the conveyor belt.
