Potato Shaker

A machine developed by RMA-Techniek to determine whether potatoes turn blue quickly.

The potatoes are shaken for a certain period of time in the potato shaker, which will cause the potatoes to bounce. When the machine is stopped, the potatoes can be scooped out, and then it can be determined whether the potatoes quickly turn blue.

By performing this test, the quality of a batch of potatoes can be determined by means of the starch present in the potatoes.
