Inspection Table
Inspection tables come in different sizes and applications. An inspection table can have a counting/weighing system and input screens, but also a photo unit.
At the start of the inspection table, the potatoes go to a Photo Unit where a photo is taken of the entire sample. To always guarantee the same lighting conditions the photo is taken in a closed space.
Subsequently, the pre-set defects can be read out on the flat belt and thrown through the relevant compartments. A weigh bin is attached under each compartment so that the weight and number of all defects are registered. The inspection table contains five weighing buckets to sort the defects, but this can also be more or less.
The inspection table may also include a reading section intended to visually inspect the potatoes for defects. These can be entered on the touchscreen.
After the inspection, the remaining potatoes are transported to the endpoint on the inspection table. At the end of the inspection table, all the potatoes come together on a conveyor belt that transports the potatoes in a crate.
