Berry harvesting machine

RMA Techniek was commissioned to develop a berry harvesting machine. Together with the customer, we determined the various specifications and functions required for the machine. The machine includes the following components:

• Shaking units
• Feed fingers
• Display and push-button control panel
• Product collection bin

At the beginning of the machine, the branches containing berries are fed into the system. The branches are then transported by the feed fingers and guided through the vibrating units. The vibrations cause the berries to detach from the branches. The berries are then collected in the product collection bin.

At the other end of the machine, the branches, from which the berries have been removed, are discharged. These branches must then be removed manually.

The entire machine is operated via a touchscreen and push-button control panel. The desired speeds and other settings can be entered manually.
